Sumikkogurashi Pokapoka Onsen ni Youkoso is the latest entry in the Sumikkogurashi “Sumicco Communication” game series and, most notably, is the first title in the series developed for Nintendo Switch 2, inviting players to help the Sumikkogurashi characters run and expand a busy hot spring inn through various tasks, facility development, relaxing activities, mini-games, and collectible items.

In Sumikkogurashi Pokapoka Onsen ni Youkoso, the Sumikkogurashi characters help out at a busy hot spring inn that is short on staff, with the goal of transforming it into a popular destination where guests can gather. Players can assist with jobs such as guiding customers and cleaning while expanding the inn with new facilities. Coins earned from guests using the facilities can be spent on opening places such as a shop and game corner, while upgrading facilities increases the coins earned and unlocks more possibilities.

The game also offers a relaxing hot spring life where the Sumikkogurashi characters can unwind in the hot spring and spend leisurely time in their rooms.
