The story follows an amnesiac young girl who is given the name Alice by her guide, the White Rabbit, upon awakening in the afterlife. Stripped of all memories from before and after her death, Alice is drawn into a cruel game governed by a single rule: only those who defeat the Queen may earn their freedom.
